Here is what recent versions added, linked to where the guide covers it. The guide follows the Koala manual as it stood in October 2026, when the current version was 2.0.15. The manual warns that it can lag behind the app.

Automation for the mixer and plugins
- Adds automation for bus effects, mixer channels, and plugin synths and effects. Android has no plugin hosting, so the plugin part doesn’t apply there. In the guide →

Same pad mapping for all banksto the MIDI settings: map 16 pads once, and the selected bank decides which pads your notes play. The bank selector can be mapped too. Switched off, each of the 64 pads keeps its own mapping, as before. - Lets you toggle MIDI map mode from the computer keyboard (
