Keys glow pink; the encoders are steps 1–32. The small numbers are the item numbers in Behringer’s manual, which this guide uses throughout.

Key colours

Pink
Zaquencer mode. Key 1 and the keys in use from 5–20 glow pink.
Amber
Controller mode.
Blue
A settings menu: device Settings, the sequencer settings or the controller settings.
Track keys
Flashing is the selected track, green is unmuted, red is muted.

Key 1’s panel legend reads “ZQR/CTRL”; the manual’s text mostly calls it ZAQ/CTRL, so this guide writes 1ZAQ/CTRL. The drawing is simplified from the panel illustration in Behringer’s manual: spacing and colours are approximate, and the display text is illustrative.
